Lo que entiendo de su mensaje es que es una situación enriquecida que la de pertenecer a ambas culturas.

From your experience I believe it is an enriching situation to belong to both cultures. May be it is easy to adjust because the two cultures are close in many aspects being both Mediterranean?

Elga please who said it is a French forum. All I read is that this forum is for Algerians and people passionate by Algeria. Nothing where mentioned about the language.

You didn't get my point right I think :
I have nothing about the fact that you use english here, I'm only a user just like you, and I have no lesson to give you.
However, as you may have notice it, obviosly, the main part of the users here are "french-educated" or use french more easily that english...and this is the only raison that made me use french instead of english to answer you ( as indeed you understant french ).
So please, just don't feel offended or attacked by my answer
By the way it's quite enriching to share our ideas, without any language barrier .

Well I have always lived in between paris and algiers and let's say that my parents were bored by the travels lol...it's not for economical's raison, nor politics... It was just easier for them ...
I guess if they had had the opportunity to make a different choise, they wouldn't for sure have come ...
