C'est ça le plus important, le PIB par tête d'habitant, et c'est vrai, plus le temps passe, plus l'Algérie creuse l'écart en sa faveur.

Pour 2008, le pib en parité de pouvoir d'achat est plus du double que celui du Maroc. Voici les chiffres de 2007 en PPA pour avoir une idée

c'est un peus le bareme au maroc des gens qui payent pas l'igr ou les impots sur salaire, et sa reflet un peus le salaire min au maroc.

Quand j'ai intervenu plus haut, je voulais souligner que le montant du PIB ne donne pas une idée juste du niveau de vie du pays.

Pour l'Algérie, d'abord ce il ne faut pas confondre PIB et salaire ... il y a une marge dans les deux concepts.
À cela il faut ajouter le panier que peut se permettre un salarié avec son salaire.

À titre d'exemple, je connais l'Argentine où le salaire minimum est de 120 dollars par mois...
Mais ce 120 dollars achètera 4 fois plus que ce 120 dollars achèterait en Algérie.

Pour avoir une comparaison juste entre disons, le Maroce et l'Algérie, il ne faut pas se fier au PIB ... mais il faudra déterminer ce que (si on force) ce PIB pourrait acheter dans l'un et l'autre pays.

Mais je répète, il est plus juste de prendre ce que le salaire peut achetr dans chaque pays!

Il ne faut pas aussi confondre entre "pouvoir d'achat", qualité de la vie et niveau de vie.

En econometrie, l'indice estimant le niveau de vie est intrinsequement lié au PIB. Il n'est pas le résultat d'observations plus ou moins subjectives mais est le résultat d'une règle de calcul :

La particularité des pays méditerranéens est la présence d'un secteur informel fort, les estimations de la banque mondiale sur l'économie informelle peuvent faire évoluer les chiffres de la croissance pour chaque pays. Ce qui compte c'est la richesse réalisée et non comptabilisée.
Qqn peut-il nous renseigner sur l'estimation de l'économie informelle dans chaque pays du maghreb?

très bonne question, le secteur informel est très developpé dans les pays du maghreb.
Je crois que les experts estiment à 30% le secteur informel.

Everyone involved is very scared to talk about it, but Algerian state companies are increasingly drawing on the Moroccan experience of reforms, bringing in managers and expertise from the neighboring kingdom in a number of key sectors. This process has the support of the top echelons of decision makers in both countries although probably not with elite and popular nationalist opinion, hence the extreme discretion that surround these exchanges.

Algeria Focus understands that President Abdelaziz Bouteflika has been directly involved in talks about involving Moroccan business more deeply in Algerian affairs.

This is despite the two countries' borders having been closed since 1994; land frontiers show little sign of reopening, as the standoff over the disputed Western Sahara continues. However, exchanges continue in the formal economy, as well as the informal sector. Air Algerie..., Royal Air Maroc and Tunis AirTunis ... are among those with regular flights"and these are pretty full," a Moroccan source said.

Usually very reliable sources canvassed by Algeria Focus in Morocco say that an increasing number of Moroccan managers have been drafted in to help prepare Algerian state companies for privatization. Fellow Maghrebis, Moroccan businesspeople are at least a decade ahead of their Algerian counterparts. Managers and experts from the kingdom have practical experience of pre-privatization restructuring that Algeria needs.

Algeria Focus has been told that two major Moroccan banks have been asked to bid in the privatization of an Algerian bank Credit Populaire d'AlgérieCredit Populaire d'AlgérieLoading... (CPA), we understand. A small delegation of senior Moroccan bankers visited Algiers to examine this project and met Bouteflika himself, two sources close to the meeting confirmed.

Whether the banks will participate in the privatization of CPA or another institution is uncertain, however.

We believe the bankers were given a significant political push to attend, but found potentially irreconcilable differences with the Algerians.

Bouteflika as Algeria Focus has pointed out before remains an advocate of state domination of finances, as he showed muscling local private and international banks out of project financings for Sonatrach
and other state companies. In talks with the Moroccans, he expressed surprise that the big Casablanca banks themselves, not the Moroccan state or central bank, set their own credit limits (as any normal international bank would do). He could not conceive of this being possible for a privatised Algerian bank suggesting that commercially-minded Moroccan bankers, as with their French and other international counterparts, may be somewhat relieved if they are allowed to pull back from any buy-in (of a minority stake) in an Algerian institution.
